Not Sure Where to Start?

There is no single pathway to volunteer leadership in AOTA. Members contribute in different ways and at different stages of their professional journey. These conversations are designed to help members learn about opportunities to serve, gain perspective from experienced volunteer leaders, and explore how their interests, skills, and experiences can contribute to AOTA and the profession.

Join an informal virtual Volunteer Leadership Pathways Conversation to learn about leadership opportunities, ask questions, and hear firsthand experiences from current and past volunteer leaders.

Whether you are exploring a current opportunity or simply interested in learning more about future possibilities, these conversations can help you better understand:

  • Elected and appointed volunteer leadership opportunities

  • Roles, responsibilities, and time commitments
  • Skills and experiences that support leadership service

No registration or appointment is required. Simply join the Zoom session during any scheduled office hour and stay as long as is helpful.
