Timeline for Elections

• Important Record Date for 2026 Elections: Be advised that the record date is set in Article IX, Section 4.A.1 of the Bylaws: “The record date for determining members entitled to notice of and to vote in an election shall be 30 days prior to the meeting or action requiring a determination by the members.” Per the AOTA Bylaws, one must be an AOTA member as of January 5, 2026 (30 days prior to the start of the Bylaws vote) to be eligible to vote in the 2025 AOTA Elections starting February 4, 2026.
• The nomination period opens from Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 11:59 am ET (just before noon) and closes promptly at 11:59 am ET (just before noon) on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
• Online voting will be conducted from February 4, 2026, at 11:59 AM ET (just before noon) through February 25, 2026, at 11:59 AM ET (just before noon) with assumption of office on July 1, 2026.
